Better Together Brands is a multi-unit operator of service-related businesses. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated housekeeping leader to be our partner as we together build a multi-million dollar residential cleaning business in Tampa Bay, Florida. The successful candidate is driven, dedicated, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. In this role, you will have an excellent opportunity to showcase your housekeeping knowledge while developing essential skills to successfully run a small business:

As Head of Housecleaning Operations, you will lead and direct all activities of a residential and light commercial cleaning business, including employee scheduling, customer service, and quality control. You will be responsible for training and developing high performing cleaning teams that deliver exceptional service to our clients. You will play a key part in building this newly formed service business into a multi-million dollar business, and you will share financially in its success.

As Business Co-Owner, you will have the opportunity for tremendous personal and professional growth as you enter our year long business mentorship program to learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurialism and business ownership. You will become a key member of our local management team and take on the exciting role of business owner within our organization.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role is exciting! Your responsibilities will be to lead the operation of this high-growth residential cleaning business: 

1. Housecleaning Operations: - Consistently implement the Company’s housecleaning procedures, policies, and standards to ensure repeated quality and customer satisfaction with every job. - Manage the cleaning operation within expected key performance indicators (KPIs) for labor costs and recurring customers. - Conduct regular QA inspections in the field to assess and maintain the highest levels of service standards. - Organize and manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring the timely availability of required materials in the field. - Assist in the development and implementation of new cleaning procedures and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Implement health and safety protocols that promote a safe work environment for employees and clients. - Assist in resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally 

2. Training and Development: - Interview, hire, and train Cleaners and Lead Cleaners as needed due to business growth and build a high performing and reliable team. - Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to enhance staff skills and knowledge. - Coach and develop Lead Cleaners to independently manage routes, conduct self-inspections, and provide exceptional customer service. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback for improvement. - Develop and communicate a weekly employee schedule. -Foster a positive and inclusive team culture to promote collaboration and motivation

3. Scheduling and Record Keeping: - Utilize software and technology to create appointments, develop routes, track inventory, and maintain client records. - Maintain accurate records and documentation, such as staff attendance, performance, and customer feedback

4. Business Development: - Convert first-time cleaning customers into recurring customers to help build the business. - Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue growth opportunities, such as expanding services or targeting new customer segments.

5. Business Co-Ownership:- Learn and understand the core principles of business ownership and entrepreneurship.- Gain hands-on experience in various aspects of running a business, including finance, marketing, operations, and customer service.- Collaborate with senior management to execute the business plan and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability.- Prepare for the transition into a business ownership role, taking on increasing responsibilities and decision-making authority as the business grows.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or hospitality is a plus 
  • Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in residential cleaning or hospitality
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies is preferred
  • Understanding of health and safety protocols and ability to enforce compliance
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently prioritize tasks
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for learning and a strong desire to become a business owner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with employees, colleagues, and customers
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of scheduling software and Google software suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate business needs
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties associated with housekeeping operations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
